Bebe Cool Advises Dax Vibez to Build Solo Career Before Collaborating

In a recent interview, Ugandan veteran singer Moses Ssali famously known as Bebe Cool shared his thoughts on a collaboration with Dax Vibez. While acknowledging Dax’s talent and unique musical identity, Bebe Cool said that Dax needs alot of time to grow and establish a strong solo career before seeking collaborations with him.

“He is a good artist, but he needs to strengthen his career by himself before collaborating with me. My collaboration will be very useful if he has built himself strongly, but at this time, it will be irrelevant,” Bebe Cool said.

Bebe Cool went ahead and admitted that he was impressed by the singers vocals in “Believe” a collaboration with Vinka.

However, Bebe's statement has stirred discussions especially after considering Dax Vibez is one of the fastest-growing and most trending artists in the country currently.

Dax has been able to release hits and build a solid fanbase without relying on collaborations with his older brother, Bobi Wine, a former music star who turned into politician.

Despite being a veteran singer in Uganda, Bebe Cool has still struggled to make it to bigger stages.

Some music industry observers point out that Bebe has not yet gained widespread recognition across the African continent and therefore should consider seeking collaborations with established artists from other African countries, emphasizing that he, too, could benefit from them and enhance his brand.
