Excitement gripped Next Media Park yesterday April 1, 2025, as Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, arrived for a highly anticipated appearance on NBS TV’s political talk show Barometer, hosted by Adam Kungu.

Bobi Wine's presence brought operations at the media house to a virtual standstill, with staff, fans swarming the premises to catch a glimpse of the opposition firebrand.

It was an electrifying atmosphere at the Nagure hill with some claiming Next Media boss Kin Kariisa had orchestrated the appearance as a bold jab at Museveni, following tensions with the government over media coverage.

Bobi Wine's ability to command attention, even in a setting where the production of the show was momentarily stalled and his impact on Uganda's political landscape continues to grow, and his appearance on Barometer has certainly left its mark.
