Chris Brown Freed on £5 Million Bail Over London Nightclub Assault

American singer Chris Brown has been granted bail by Southwark Crown Court in London after being charged with grievous bodily harm following an alleged assault at a London nightclub.
The singer was reportedly involved in an incident at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, where he attacked music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle in what police reffered to as an unprovoked attack.
The singer was arrested last week in Salford and his bail was initially denied after his arrest at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester on May 16.
However, during a court session, Tony Baumgartner approved his release on £5 million bail with £4 million paid upfront and the remaining £1 million due within a week.

Judge Tony Baumgartner set strict bail conditions, including:
- Surrendering his passport when not on tour
- Staying at a court approved residence
- Avoiding any contact with the alleged victim Keeping away from Tape nightclub
Chris Brown did not appear in court for the hearing but he will be allowed to continue his planned Breezy Bowl XX world tour, which starts on June 8 in Amsterdam. He will also perform in Manchester, London, and Cardiff.
The Yeah hit singer's next court appearance is scheduled for June 20.
