Cindy Plans Special Invitation for Bobi Wine to Attend Her Concert on August 29th

Musician Cindy set her concert for August 29th of this year which is the date as the show planned by Dax Vibez, the younger brother of Bobi Wine.

As the President of the Uganda Musicians Association, the singer expressed her deep admiration for Bobi Wine, stating that he has played a pivotal role in her musical journey and she revealed that her team is working on meeting Bobi Wine so as they can officially invite him.

Cindy highlighted on her collaboration "Dilema," where she featured Bobi Wine and Mr. G and according to her, the song opened numerous doors and introduced her to international audiences she had not previously reached.

"I really want Bobi Wine to be at my concert. He’s done so much for me personally and for my career, especially with our 'Dilema' song. It would mean a lot to have him there, not only because of the doors he opened for me but because he gives hope to so many Ugandans."Cindy said during an interview.

Cindy also expressed her desire to perform the "Dilema" song with Bobi Wine live on stage, creating a memorable experience for the fans. She believes that having him there will make the event even more special.

Bobi Wine has faced a government-imposed ban on his performances within Uganda. The ban was a direct response to his music, which often criticizes the government and addresses political issues, especially those concerning the leadership of President Yoweri Museveni.

His songs touch on themes of social justice, corruption, and political repression, have made him a vocal opponent of the ruling regime.

The Ugandan government’s decision to ban Bobi Wine from performing was seen as an attempt to silence his voice, which is a powerful tool for political change and mobilization.

Despite the ban, Bobi has continued to speak out against the government through music however not given airplay by mainstream medias in the country.
