Feffe Bussi Drops ‘Interview 1’ with Evelyn Mic, Sparks Buzz for Uganda’s Next Hip-Hop Anthem

· Entertainment

Feffe Bussi, the Ugandan rapper known for his clever wordplay and energetic style, has just released a fresh track titled "Interview 1," featuring media personality Evelyn Mic.

Recently dropped but the song is already making waves for its unique concept and execution, blending hip-hop flair with a creative twist that’s got fans buzzing.

The track revolves around a mock television interview setup, where Evelyn Mic plays the role of a sharp, inquisitive host, firing off questions while Feffe Bussi responds in rhyme over a slick beat. It’s a brilliant fusion of dialogue and music.

Evelyn’s questions range from personal digs to career probes, and Feffe delivers his answers with the charisma and lyrical dexterity that earned him the nickname "Smallest Rapper" with the biggest impact. The back-and-forth dynamic keeps it engaging, almost like a scripted skit set to a head-nodding rhythm.

From what’s circulating, the song isn’t just a one off gimmick. It’s being pitched as "Part 1," hinting at a potential series. Fans are already drawing comparisons to Feffe’s earlier hit "Who Is Who" from 2018, which sparked a massive hip-hop movement in Uganda.

The music video, which hit YouTube around February 24, 2025, doubles down on the concept, bringing the interview to life visually.

Evelyn Mic’s presence adds authenticity. she’s a familiar face in Ugandan media, and her chemistry with Feffe makes it feel real yet playful. It’s a smart move by Feffe, who’s been a mainstay in the scene since his 2016 breakthrough "Yes No," proving he’s still got tricks up his sleeve to keep the genre fresh.
