Muslims Across Uganda Mark Eid ul-Fitr with Festive Unity Today

Today, millions of Muslims worldwide are celebrating Eid ul-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, prayer, and reflection.
Eid ul-Fitr began this morning with special prayers, festive gatherings, and acts of charity, bringing communities together in a spirit of gratitude and joy.

After a month of fasting, Muslims break the fast on this day. They wake up early morning for Suhuh prayers before going out for an open space to have prayers.
Muslims who havent done charity or paying Zakat-el-Fitr must to it before they go for prayers so as to reflect the acts they did during the Holy month.
In the capital, Kampala, thousands gathered at the Old Kampala Mosque for the Eid Salah prayers.
Prayers at Gaddafi Mosque in the Capital started at 9 am and prayers were led by Shekh Ramadhan Mubajje, who is the the mufti of Uganda.

At Kibuli Mosque, prayers were led by Dr Hafith Walusimbi who is the director of Sharia
