Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido has claimed his US passport is worth more than a million dollars.

The singer was born in the States in Atlanta Georgia hence owning a duo citizenship which enables him have access to the United States without restrictions.

“The only thing is that I could fly anytime I wanted, like go to America every time I wanted and stuff. That was beautiful.” he said.

The timing of the statement is particularly notable, as it coincides with recent news of heightened U.S. visa scrutiny for Africans, including a new U.S. policy announced on April 2, 2025, to monitor Kenyan social media accounts before visa approvals.
