Paddyman Defends Bobi Wine’s New Track, Slams Eddy Sendi’s Harsh Criticism
Veteran music producer Paddyman has publicly responded to media critic Eddy Sendi following negative comments about the newly released song "Not Your Enemy" by Bobi Wine, King Saha, and Nubian Li.
The track, which dropped recently, has been performing well online and sparking discussion across Uganda’s music scene.
Despite its growing popularity, Eddy Sendi dismissed the song saying it lacked quality and failed to impress.
Paddyman, who produced the song, didn’t take the critique lightly. Speaking in an interview on BBS TV a local Television station, he defended the track, stating that Sendi’s views were out of touch with the public’s reception.
“The numbers on YouTube speak for themselves, the audience loves it. Sendi’s opinion doesn’t reflect what people actually feel.” Paddy Man said.
He went on to describe Sendi as someone who always takes the negative route rather than appreciating other people’s efforts.
“He’s always the first to criticize and the last to give credit,” Paddyman added.
In a sharp jab, Paddyman also questioned Sendi’s relevance in music commentary. “Honestly, I’d rather consult him on farming or matters related to retirement. At his age, that would be more fitting,” he quipped.
