Senegal dominated the entire second half and Habib Diarra scored in the 62rd minute putting the Lions of Teranga ahead of the Three Lions. The result was later doubled by Cheikh Sabaly in stoppage time when he sealed the score with a third goal.

The result marked Thomas Tuchel’s first loss since taking over as England manager with 3 wins and 1 loss.
