Telegram Partners with Elon Musk’s xAI to Integrate Grok AI Chatbot

Telegram has entered a landmark partnership with Elon Musk’s xAI, bringing the Grok AI chatbot to its platform in a move set to reshape the messaging and AI landscape.

The one-year collaboration will see xAI’s technology integrated into Telegram.

According to sources, the deal's value is approximately $300 million, includes both cash and equity contributions from xAI.

As per the deal, Telegram will earn 50% of the revenue generated from xAI subscriptions made through the Telegram app. The partnership aims to not only boost Telegram’s AI capabilities but also provide xAI with massive user access as it looks to compete with major players like OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic.

Grok was developed by xAI with the aim of creating a more dynamic and human-like chatbot.

The move comes as demand for AI-powered tools continues to surge. Telegram and xAI hope to not only improve user experience but also create a new revenue stream in the rapidly growing AI space.
