Ugandan singer Cindy Sanyu has unveiled the date and venue for her long awaited concert dubbed The King Herself in The Royal Experience.

The concert will be going down on 29th August 2025 at Millennium Park in Kampala.

The King Herself has earned her place as one of Uganda’s most formidable female performers. She is known for her fierce stage presence, commanding vocals, energetic live performances and she has successfully built a strong fanbase within the region.

This upcoming show marks her major return to the big stage.

Cindy Sanyu became the first Ugandan female artist to headline a solo concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, a venue mostly known for hosting international performers and a few prominent male Ugandan artists.

Her past concerts consistently drew massive crowds and former Blue* 3 singer promises The Royal Experience to be no different.

Cindy recently reunited with her former Blu*3 bandmates, Jackie Chandiru and Lilian Mbabazi, for a highly anticipated performance that sparked reunion rumors among fans and they performed together for the first time in over 15 years.

Blu*3 later announced another major concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel, in celebration of International Women’s Day. Their reunion also led to the release of a single dubbed “Guma” marking their first joint track in more than a decade.

Despite the excitement and speculation, the group clarified that the reunion is not a full-time comeback. Cindy stated that while they are enjoying working together again, each member remains focused on their solo projects.
