Trump Confirms Destruction of Iran’s Nuclear Facilities in U.S. Airstrikes

The Middle East is teetering on the edge of a full-scale war after the United States launched an airstrike on Iran’s nuclear facilities,
Late Saturday night, six U.S. B-2 Spirit stealth bombers departed from forward bases and conducted coordinated strikes on Iran’s critical nuclear installations: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The operation utilized GBU-57 “bunker buster” bombs, designed to destroy fortified underground facilities.
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the operation and declared its success earlier today.

“Thank you very much. A short time ago, the U.S. military carried out massive precision strikes on three nuclear facilities of the Iranian regime: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Our objective was the destruction of Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and an end to the nuclear threat posed by the world’s number one state sponsor of terror. Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier,” said Trump.
In response, Iran launched a large-scale retaliation within hours. More than 150 ballistic missiles and drones were fired toward Israel, triggering explosions in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Jerusalem. While Israeli air defense systems intercepted many of the projectiles, several struck civilian areas, causing injuries and widespread damage.
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a press conference and praised the United States and President Trump for taking decisive action against Iran.

“America has been truly unsurpassed. It has done what no other country on Earth could do. History will record that President Trump acted to deny the world’s most dangerous regime the world’s most dangerous weapons,” Netanyahu said.
As the conflict intensifies, global powers are weighing in. Both Russia and China have condemned the U.S. airstrikes, warning Washington against further military involvement in the Middle East.
All eyes on China and Russia if the two countries will go beyond words and offer military or strategic support to Iran in its fight against Israel.
