Uganda Airlines Unveils Launch Date for Direct Entebbe-London Flights
Uganda Airlines has officially announced the launch of direct flights from Entebbe International Airport to London
The very first flight is scheduled to take off on June 15, 2025, offering travelers a convenient and efficient connection between Uganda and the United Kingdom.
According to Uganda Airlines, the new route, which will operate three times a week and aims to strengthen trade and tourism ties between the two nations.
Flights will depart Entebbe on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 9:00 PM local time, arriving at London Gatwick at 5:30 AM GMT the following day.
Uganda Minister of Works and Transport Katumba Wamala confirmed that very soon, The Crane will be flapping its wings into the United Kingdom.
“This route will connect Entebbe International Airport to London Gatwick, and it will be Uganda Airlines’ 3rd destination outside the African continent after Dubai and Mumbai.” he said
The airline has steadily grown its network since its revival in 2019.
The airline will deploy its Airbus A330-800neo aircraft on the route, featuring a modern cabin with both business and economy class options.
