Barcelona narrowly defeated Real Madrid 4-3 in a high-stakes La Liga encounter that brought them within touching distance of the league title. The Catalan giants now sit seven points clear of their eternal rivals with just three games left.
The match burst into life early, as the French International Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 6th minute and doubled Madrid's lead in the 14th minute finishing a pass from Vinícius Júnior.

Barcelona's Eric García gave the home side hope with a well placed finish in the 19th minute, and teenage sensation Lamine Yamal equalized in the 32nd minute. Brazilian Raphinha fired Barcelona ahead in the 34th minute, then struck again on the brink of halftime to make it 4-2.
Real Madrid pushed back in the second half with urgency. Mbappe completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute, marking 39 goals in the season.

The result marked the Catalan giant's fourth win over Real Madrid this season across all competitions.
