Kyambogo University is mourning the untimely death of Ariwatwe Nicholas, a first-year student from the Faculty of Vocational Studies, who was pursuing a Bachelor of Interior and Landscape Design.

Described as a humble, cheerful, and talented individual, the late student was recognized for his potential in the field of art and industrial design. Although the cause of death was not revealed.

The Guild extended heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and classmates, emphasizing the emotional toll on the entire Kyambogo University fraternity. The University also encouraged the student body to stand in solidarity with the family during this difficult period, noting that the university administration is supporting burial arrangements.

This tragic loss comes amid ongoing challenges at Kyambogo University, including recent student protests over tuition fees earlier in the year.
