Liverpool’s star forward Mohamed Salah has been named Footballer of the Year for the third time by the Football Writers’ Association (FWA)
The Egyptian was ablr to earn 90% of the vote from more than 900 journalists that participated.
Mohamed Salah has now joined Arsenal legend Thierry Henry as the only players to receive the award three times. Salah won the prestigious award in 2018 and 2022 and his masterclass form in the 2024–25 season has been able to claim Liverpool campaigns. Salah has the most goal scored and assists, 28 goals and 18 assists in 35 Premier League matches.

Salah has been key figure in Liverpool. His consistency, influence, and ability to deliver in difficult moments have made him as one of the greatest players in Premier League history.
He is now the first Liverpool player to win the award three times, extending the club’s record as the most decorated in FWA history.
