Arsenal’s UCL Dream Ends as PSG Advance to Final in Munich with Inter Milan

Arsenal’s hopes of returning to the UEFA Champions League final for the first time since 2006 were ended by Paris Saint-Germain, who secured a 3-1 aggregate victory in their semifinal clash at the Parc des Princes.
Arsenal fell 2-1 on the night, unable to overcome the 1-0 deficit from the first leg at the Emirates Stadium.
In the first leg, PSG struck early through Ousmane Dembélé’s fourth-minute goal, setting the tone for a tense tie. Arsenal struggled to match PSG’s tempo, with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma making key saves to deny Martinelli and Trossard.

Returning to Paris for the decisive leg, Arsenal entered with renewed energy, boosted by Thomas Partey's return to midfield. Declan Rice took on a more advanced role as the Gunners sought to shift momentum. However, PSG's attacking depth proved decisive once again. Kvaratskhelia orchestrated swift counterattacks that led to two crucial goals for the hosts. Although Bukayo Saka pulled one back in the 76th minute, it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
PSG, led by Luis Enrique, have now knocked out four Premier League clubs this season, Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal firmly establishing themselves as title contenders.

Arsenal exit the tournament with their heads held high after a strong European run that included a commanding 5-1 aggregate victory over Real Madrid in the quarterfinals. Their progress under Mikel Arteta signals promise for future European challenges.
PSG now advance to the Champions League final, set for May 31 at the Allianz Arena in Munich, where they will face Inter Milan in a bid to claim their first-ever title.
