Ugandan singer Spice Diana has taken down the music video for the “Gwokute Gwobba” remix, featuring Uncle Chumi, from her official YouTube channel following a wave of demands from her devoted fanbase, Spice Gadgets.

The decision comes after mounting discontent among fans over what they describe as disrespectful and clout chasing behavior from Uncle Chumi, whose collaboration with Spice Diana had initially sparked excitement but quickly turned controversial.

The remix was a reimagining of Uncle Chumi’s dancehall hit, with Spice Diana’s star power adding a fresh twist to the track.

However, tensions arose when Uncle Chumi, a rising artist and controversial TikToker, claimed in multiple interviews that Spice Diana’s manager, Roger Lubega, had “forced” her against her will to participate in the collaboration. Chumi further accused Spice Diana of abandoning her during a past legal ordeal involving a jail stint for computer misuse.

The Spice Gadgets, known for their fierce loyalty, took to social media to voice their frustration, accusing Chumi of ingratitude and exploiting Spice Diana’s name for personal gain.
