This week, the Eyee proudly shines the Woman Crush Wednesday spotlight on an inspiring young woman whose journey reflects strength, intelligence, and unwavering purpose Dr. Nalukwago Judith.
Judith first rose to prominence during her days at Makerere University, where she was widely known for her active involvement in student leadership.
Many remember her as an outspoken figure during the 85th Guild Government under Guild President Kateregga Julius regime where she acted as a Vice Guild President.
Judith’s influence and leadership during that term made her a standout figure in student politics. She became a voice for justice, accountability, and gender equality always standing up for students and championing causes that mattered to the students.
she once aspired to run for Guild President, aiming to become the university’s top student leader. However, her plans were cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the closure of education institutions across Uganda in 2020. Despite this setback, Judith’s determination never faded.

Judith pursued her passion for medicine and she is now a dentist by profession.
As a healthcare professional, Dr. Nalukwago continues to serve her community, offering medical services while advocating for improved healthcare access, especially for underprivileged groups.
Today, Dr. Nalukwago Judith is an active political voice within the National Unity Platform (NUP) Uganda’s leading opposition party. She stands as one of the brave, young female voices pushing for change, democracy, and accountability in Uganda. Her activism is grounded in compassion, discipline, and a firm belief that young people.

Judith has consistently used her platform to speak out on critical issues affecting Ugandans, from poor service delivery to youth unemployment, and human rights. She represents a new generation of Ugandan women who are not afraid to lead, challenge injustice, and push boundaries, whether in politics, medicine, or civic life.
